Bharata (Ross Stoutenborough) has practiced yoga for over 40 years and served as Ramakrishna Ananda’s archivist for 12 years. Previously he was the President of a computer consulting firm. When he was 17 years old, he became a chess master and a silver medalist at the World Student Team Chess Championship.
Kali Devi (Chris Jensen) has studied yoga with Ramakrishna Ananda for over 40 years. She’s been a yoga teacher for over 35 years and a Yoga Center manager for over 25 years. She has also created and run marketing programs for a variety of technology companies and non-profit organizations.
Ambika (Hanan Hanna) has practiced yoga since the 70’s. As Ramakrishna Ananda’s personal assistant for over 40 years, she’s been instrumental in supporting his work — teaching, writing, video and website projects. She currently serves as a videographer and editor for YogaWorld.org.
Jon Cruz is a software developer who has worked in a wide variety of technology industries for almost 30 years. He is a problem solver who loves a challenge and is constantly improving the projects he is working on. Other websites he’s developing include a creative writing site, numerous gaming sites and his librarian wife’s book review website.
Amit Goyani is a UI/UX designer who brings a unique blend of creative and technical skills to the design process. With a passion for solving complex problems through user-centered design, he specializes in wireframing, prototyping, visual design, accessibility and usability testing. He’s done designs for a number of industries including real estate, healthcare and finance.
Dulith Kavinda, who is responsible for the gem tone thumbnails throughout Yoga World, is a key part of our offshore digital design team. He provides rapid turnaround on high-quality designs. His portfolio includes print, social media, label, cover art and YouTube banner/thumbnail design for individuals and corporations worldwide.
Tarini (Cathy Mullins) has studied yoga with Ramakrishna Ananda for over 40 years. She is part of the Spiritual World Society leadership team, the Yoga World staff and a Yoga in Service board member. She has also taught elementary school bilingual programs for 30 years.
Durga Priya (Thursa Williams) has practiced yoga for over 40 years. She is a member of the Spiritual World Society’s leadership team, and she has served as a cook for many of Ramakrishna Ananda’s retreats. Her background includes being an elementary school teacher.
Avara (Tobey Yoches) has practiced yoga since 1972. She served as a Yoga Center teacher, retreat cook, and is currently a member of the Spiritual World Society leadership team. She has taught software and managed development teams for healthcare organizations.
Parvati (Karen Fujikawa) has studied yoga with Ramakrishna Ananda since 1978. She served as a Yoga Center board member, cooked for Yoga Center retreats and is a Yoga World website editor. She has also worked as a social worker, child support officer and teacher.
Vishnu Das (Tony Murdock) began his spiritual journey in 1972 when he met Ramakrishna Ananda and dedicated his life to personal spiritual unfoldment. Since 1998, he has been facilitating meditation classes in Canada. He has degrees in comparative relations, Sanskrit and Hindu Religious History.
Charutama (Kathleen Nader) has practiced yoga for more than 40 years. She currently teaches deep breathing and meditative practices over the internet. She is also a therapist and childhood trauma specialist who has written a number of books, articles, and chapters on that subject.
Palayatri (Margaret Gillingham) has practiced yoga for over 40 years. She has designed printed materials for the Spiritual World Society and Yoga Center, and designs and produces the weekly online Yoga Center newsletter. Her work as a graphic designer has included healthcare, marketing/advertising and printing companies.
Usha (Sarah Shirley) has practiced yoga for over 25 years. As the Yoga Center’s Office Manager, she handles all of the organization’s online ecommerce services as well as numerous day-to-day functions. She also serves as an Assistant Manager and Buyer for the Answer Bookstore. Previously she was a Stage Technician at both Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland.
Sumedha (Cathy Taylor) has studied yoga with Ramakrishna Ananda since 1982. In addition to teaching meditation, she has managed the Yoga Center’s social media and website for over 15 years. Her background includes managing digital marketing programs for technology companies. She currently offers her services as a life coach..
Viktoriia Sitdikova, who lives in the Netherlands, has been a member of our archive team for eight years. She is thorough, accurate and professional.
Antonina Matundura is a talented writer and transcriber living in Kenya. She has transcribed audios and videos for retreats, seminars and classes for over five years.
Asha Rajesth has managed our transcribing team remotely from India. For almost five years, she has done transcriptions of many of the talks and videos on Yoga World.
Albert Galindo has led SEO (Search Engine Optimization) projects for legal firms and technology organizations for the past 10 years. Prior to focusing primarily on SEO, he managed SEM (Search-Engine-Marketing) projects that included PPC (Pay-Per-Click) and SEO.
