Faith Leads to Bhakti

Our faith gives us a strong yearning for a higher state of awareness, to get free of our afflictions and to enjoy the companionship of the Lord. We yearn for spiritual experience and our yearning gets so strong that it prevails over all kinds of other desires, fears, aversions and cravings. Our yearning makes us one-pointed. Then our energy can flow in one direction, becoming a powerful river. Our one-pointedness develops into bhakti, ongoing love and devotion.
