RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Plant Seeds for a Better Tomorrow

Where would you like to see change?

Yoga teaches that our thoughts, feelings, words and actions are seeds which bear fruits — bitter or sweet — in our lives. These seeds are the causes of our present happiness and fulfillment or, conversely, emptiness and sorrow. By planting and cultivating positive seeds, you can have a better tomorrow and improve life immensely.

Sunday Morning Sessions

How to Plant New Seeds

Do you like what is happening in your life? The beauty of yoga is that it helps us understand that our thoughts, feelings, words and actions usually are the causes of the situations and events in our lives. Your life today is the result of seeds planted in the past.

The question is:  How do we plant successfully? Yoga shows us the way. Roll out your mat, release tension and turbulence and enter into a state of harmony, as best you can. With practice you can attune with the Infinite Spirit and:  1) gain insights and 2) plant these insights in the vast reality of spiritual substance. Regularly, plant new seeds with an awareness of the creative power of the loving Infinite Spirit.

  • Our present life is the result of seeds planted in the past
  • Our thoughts, feelings, words and actions are all causes which bring effects
  • Yoga practices help us examine the causes of our present situations and understand how to initiate new momentums
  • Patanjali taught the importance of recognizing our hindrances and how to put the emphasis on opposite virtues (qualities)
  • In a state of harmony, we attune with the universal power of manifestation
