How a Yogi Plays the Game of Life

What can meditation bring into your daily life?

Yoga aspirants enjoy high experiences in meditation, but they also seek to carry this harmony and wholeness into their daily lives. As a result of practicing yoga, you can contact your soul, the core of your being. Soul contact encourages and recharges you every day. Each morning is a fresh chance to allow love, light and goodness to express through you. Explore three marvelous ways to play the game of life. Through yoga you can live more consciously — aware of Spirit and soul in all circumstances.

Sunday Morning Sessions

Who is the Lord?

God has invited you to play life’s greatest game where you can become fulfilled and happy, able to relate to what is going on. You may as well enjoy it. You are going to be playing it until your ego transforms and your soul wins. The game is called Who is the Lord? If you play well, you are able to lead a happy, holy life. Recall the commandment:  Thou shall have no other Gods before Me. It is the secret of a fulfilling life.

Yoga concepts fit beautifully with this. Through yoga we learn about maya, the delusion and confusion which causes us not to know or relate to the Lord. Other things have more importance than soul and Spirit. Yogis seek to awaken from the sleep of maya and to sense the love, light, truth, goodness, power and wisdom found in the presence of Spirit. As we play Who is the Lord?, we discover that the soul and Spirit are ever present. Through practicing yoga, we can receive the love, support and goodness of Spirit.

  • Yogis practice bringing the well being found in postures and meditation into their daily lives
  • One practice is to bring all levels of our being — including the ego, mind, emotions and body —into alignment
  • A second technique is to enjoy the underlying underlying harmony of body, mind and spirit found through practicing yoga
  • A third way is to sense the soul in oneself and others as we interact with them
  • The secret to a happy, fulfilling life is to recall and observe the commandment:  Thou shall have no other Gods before Me.
  • Yogis regularly ask:  What is most important to me — Spirit or my ego?
