The goals of yoga and mysticism are quite similar: to live in a higher state of consciousness. Mystical practices and yoga techniques are complimentary, but different. To see results on either path requires sincerity, reflection and application. You may be attracted to, and prefer, a western mystical approach. These initial mysteries give you an opportunity to discover whether western mysticism is most natural and effective for you.
It’s important to start with Mystery 1 and go in order, giving a month or more to each mystery. If you study and practice each mystery several times a week, your growing understanding will promote spiritual breakthroughs. Enjoy these twelve mysteries!
You can experience higher levels of consciousness through practicing western mysticism or taking the eastern approach of yoga. While different from one another, they both have the same goals — character development, spiritual growth and, eventually, living in higher consciousness. Both are dedicated to uplifting humanity. Either path can help you become happier, healthier, more wonderfully alive.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
