Meditation is designed to be a transforming practice which helps you experience your inner self and express its qualities. Learn out how going beyond your blockages and abiding in the light of your true self brings about transformation.

Change Your Sense of Self

If you wish to be free from suffering and all kinds of unnecessary problems, change your sense of self. Radiate a new self, become aware of its attributes, and send out a new picture. Look at your life today like it’s a movie and think:  Do I like it? Do I not like it? Write a new script if you didn’t like it. Get into the true self, radiate this new quality. Your true self has all these wonderful attributes — radiate them. Let the new picture come and put your action, your will and your effort into it.

  • The true self is existence, consciousness and bliss
  • In the practice of sannyas, the devotee offers the limited sense of self into the fire of transformation in order to dwell in their true nature
  • Practice abiding in your true self and allowing it to radiate
  • A growing awareness of soul qualities — such as peace, love or joy — develops
  • Enjoy a meditation practice which radiates the qualities of your true self, encouraging them to come into expression

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
