In the early stages, the ego component of the Self is the one trying to do yoga. After faithful practice, yoga begins to center in the soul. If you’re finding yourself blocked or frustrated in some way, your pictures are likely inadequate and working against your progress. It is vital, therefore, to create a better picture.
Often people can be faint-hearted when they start yoga. Yogis advise meditators to go beyond ego limitations by holding this visualization: I am a great yogi — my soul is already a great yogi.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
