In the view of yoga, we keep reincarnating until we learn to love. The great yogi Sri Ramakrishna taught that love and devotion are the keys to experiencing and relating to the Divine. The Bible contains hundreds of passages about love. Yoga practice helps to release the emotional chains which bind us and to discover the heart’s true feeling — unconditional love. Enjoy a meditative exercise to stimulate the love which is already within you.
The emotional fetters (chains) — anger, fear, guilt, grief, arrogance and prejudice — bind us and keep us aware of separateness. Through yoga practices, we learn to notice and release these chains, finding deep love. Life can be incredibly different when we choose love.
Yoga scriptures say we are meant to be children of the Divine, living in love. Through it we become happier and vastly more successful. Behind our emotional turbulence, we discover that the heart’s true feeling — love — is already alive in us. How do we contact it? I would like to share a meditative practice to cultivate the heart’s true feeling. You can learn what love is, become fully alive, and live in love.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
