If you do bhakti yoga well, you can go high and far. Here’s the secret to strengthening your love, your bhakti:  thoughts are strong, but feelings are stronger. If you can let go of negative feelings, then your heart’s true feeling — love — will shine through. Explore some of the best ways to shed strong negative feelings, strengthen your bhakti, and live in love.

Bhakti Leads You into Spirit

Bhakti is contact with your heart’s true feeling and then allowing it to flow. Finding bhakti is not a test or a chore. It’s abiding in your true nature. Bhakti is contacting and receiving the fullness of life. It’s not enlightenment, not what we call enlightenment in yoga, but it is the power that brings enlightenment. Bhakti will develop into this marvelous love and you will become aware of God. You will be absorbed in Spirit. Bhakti leads you into Spirit. Spiritual awakening is enlightenment.

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
