Two Episodes

Mortal and Universal Mind

How to overcome obstacles and experience higher levels of consciousness

Devotion, spiritual effort, meditation and truthfulness are prerequisites to experiencing that wondrous state of higher awareness, the universal mind.

  • Mortal & Universal Mind — Part 1
  • Mortal & Universal Mind — Part 2

These qualities lead to a serene, untroubled peace which, in time, develops into bliss and ecstasy and, ultimately, awareness of the Divine universal mind.

How’s Your mind?

Is your mind calm and serene or distracted, restless and anxious? Yogis find that  mental turbulence comes from the five kleshas (afflictions) — ignorance, egotism, immoderate liking, immoderate disliking and possessiveness.

Learn how to go beyond these afflictions to an untroubled mind filled with divine love.

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.

Why the Commitment?
