We often live in a world of spin. Yoga encourages us to consciously choose that which is true, beneficial and good. Even when we study and evaluate ideas with our rational mind, negative suggestions are often accepted by our subconscious mind. Our lives can improve by examining those suggestions which too often negatively influence the way we think and live.
What subconscious suggestions have impacted you the most? Think of people in your life and consider how they have influenced you. What views about life and people have you absorbed? Were you loved and appreciated? Were you made to feel stupid, unworthy and inferior? What have others led you to assume? Take your time and consider your collection of positive and negative influences.
