When a person is enlightened, there is a change in the way they perceive life and its meaning. They see that everything is Spirit.
The Bhagavad Gita explains how an enlightened person, especially an enlightened yogi, views the world: He or she, established in oneness, worships Me abiding in all beings. That yogi lives in Me, whatever may be his/her mode of living. That yogi is regarded as supreme who judges pleasure or pain everywhere by the same standard he/she applies to themselves. (Gita 6:31-32)
