RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Having Joy on the Path

How you can experience ecstatic, ongoing joy now

Sri Ramakrishna advised:  “It is necessary to obtain joy.” Ramakrishna Ananda shares several passages from the Bible and the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna on what spiritual joy is like. We also practice a joy attunement.

Yoga in Daily Life, Bliss / Ananda, Joy

Full of Joy

I do hope you’re having joy, that you’re not neglecting joy, because it’s important. Joy helps renew your system and attunes you with the infinite Spirit. Spirit is full of joy and you’re meant to be full of joy, too.

  • Yoga practice brings a state of harmony and well being which blossoms into joy
  • Sri Ramakrishna describes spiritual joy in many ways: the joy of seeing a loved one who has long been absent, joy like a bird flying free and limitless, joy like that of a sick person finding a rare medicine that cures
  • Jesus describes joy:  John 15:11 “I have spoken to you that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.”
  • Learn a practice which helps open us to spiritual joy
