Truths from the Tao — Part 2

Explore ways to love unconditionally

As we continue studying the truths from the Tao Te Ching, we use the stages of the heart from Sri Yukteswar Giri (The Holy Science) as a reference. The passages of the Tao can lead us through the stages of the heart to spiritual awareness. Discover how these seed ideas can help you progress in yoga.

Yoga Perspectives
  • Sri Yukteswar Giri (The Holy Science) explains the development of the heart that prepares one to receive spiritual awareness
  • In order to realize the Tao one needs sensitivity and openness to Spirit
  • Lao Tzu:  In pure love and sensitivity, what is within you comes forward. The Tao in you reveals the Tao everywhere.

The Great Tao

The great Tao is universal like a flood.
How can it be turned to the right or the left?
All creatures depend on it.
It denies nothing to anyone.
It does its work, but makes no claims for itself.
It clothes and feeds all, but does not lord it over them.

— Tao Te Ching

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve
