Yogis describe life as a journey of consciousness — from animal to human to spiritual. Before we awaken to Spirit, we enter into an intermediate stage called self-awareness where we begin to sense Spirit and start moving Godward. You can experience wonderful inner stirrings as you move toward spiritual awakening.
Before we’re aware of Spirit at the core of our being and all around us, we have an intermediate awakening which clears the way for full enlightenment. Most yogis call this intermediate stage the development of self-awareness. You begin to develop as an individual who is journeying from herd consciousness toward spiritual realization and fulfillment. Self-awareness is a primary stage of enlightenment.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
