The Music of Life

Yoga is an ecstatic path through which one can live in bliss. Yogis seek to enjoy every moment of life, even the repetitive parts, knowing that life is a play of Spirit. Realizing themselves to be spiritual beings, they become instruments through whom Spirit moves.

Hearing from jazz musicians may bring more flow and ecstasy into your life, helping you live with enhanced harmony, peace and enjoyment. Bliss is within you right now and is waiting for you to transcend the controlling ego. Go within, past the normal thoughts/feelings and allow the music of life ring out.

  • As yoga practice deepens, it brings ecstasy, bliss and joy
  • Bliss is already inside us — it is only a matter of finding it
  • Playing music brings flow experiences, absorptions in beauty at exalted levels
  • Musicians often concentrate intensely, going beyond the separate sense of self and merging in the flow
  • Jazz pianist Denny Zeitlin:  The main thing is to stay out of the way. Be like an instrument through which your soul expresses and manifests.
