Find out how to go beyond the mind to bliss and ecstasy

Episode 8 of 8 of the Yoga and Fulfillment Seminar — Getting to know your true self is one of the main goals in yoga and a key to finding lasting fulfillment. Enjoy an in-depth exploration of yoga techniques which can take you to an experience of your inner self, bliss and ecstasy. Take a meditative journey with Ramakrishna Ananda to explore the five main ways to go beyond the mind and experience your true self: chitta vritti nirodha (control of the waves of the mind); the seer; the shedding practice; desire break; and “Who am I?”

Online Seminars, Soul/Inner Self

Know Your True Self

The reason most people are unfulfilled is that they don’t know who they truly are. If you want to tackle personal fulfillment head on, get to know yourself, your essence, your atman. Instead of the dominance of a limited personality, why not find your true self?

  • Patanjali taught that control of the waves of the mind leads to the experience of pure consciousness within
  • By temporarily letting go of cravings, aversions and a false sense of self, you discover the true self
  • The seer, the witness, is a connection to your inner self
  • Independent of the mind, emotions and experiences, you find the core consciousness, the atman
  • Letting go of desires and the ‘I, Me and Mine’ will allow peace to reign in your heart and mind
  • Peace leads to bliss, bliss then leads to a profound intuition about life and ananda, ever-new joy
