As you quiet your mortal mind and its concerns, you’re able to enter the vast universal mind. Ramakrishna Ananda describes some of these high experiences. You also discover your true self, your soul, that which is eternal, pure and painless.
Gradually we go from a serene, untroubled consciousness into bliss and ecstasy — and then awareness of the Divine, the universal mind. Yogis often use the terms divine mind, the universal mind, or chit, which mean consciousness everywhere, universal consciousness. We discover, to our surprise, that there is but one mind, one consciousness everywhere, that we are sharing. It’s an amazing experience.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
