Roar Like a Yogi

Find out how roaring can bring transformation

We can make a difference by chanting out — mentally roaring — affirmations of God’s presence and attributes. Based on the situation, especially where there is conflict and chaos, roar something which can bring change and transformation. Discover how these affirmations can touch people and improve situations.

Raja Yoga

You, You, You

Find an appropriate mental roar. Your roar can help a great deal especially where there is trouble or suffering. Here are some yoga favorites because they change the focus from the ego to God:

1) You, You, You.  2) You, Lord.  3) You, Infinite Spirit.

Chant You, You, You to begin to sense God in and around you. Inwardly roar it — let it sing out. Allow it to influence the lives of the people near and far. I wish you the joy of inwardly roaring a beautiful blessing wherever you go.

  • Think of a word, phrase, or aspect of Spirit that could help a situation and roar it out spiritually
  • Affirmations of Catholic monastics:  God is here. God is love. God is mercy. God is Lord.
  • A yoga truth:  Dwell in your true nature by controlling the five kinds of ideas
  • A Buddhist declaration:  It is a mistake to identify this passing life with the changeless life of truth
  • Sri Ramakrishna’s recommendation:  Affirm that this is God’s divine play
  • A favorite affirmation of yogis:  You, You, You (referring to the Lord)

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
