RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Asking the Lord to Come

How to personally know God’s goodness, wisdom, and insight

Too often, people assume God will not respond to their prayers or cries in the night. But we are joined to God by life, essence, and consciousness. We are connected. Ask the Lord to come to you and then be receptive. The problem is usually our lack of spiritual awareness and an ego which ignores the promptings of the soul.

Bhakti Yoga Talks, Prayer, Sincerity, Receptivity

The Lord is Available

The Lord is available to you. All you need to do is make room. Ask and knock — remember that passage from the New Testament?  “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.” (Matt 7: 7-8)  It may be hard to believe, but the Lord is saying, “My beloved child, what do you need?” And He is particularly delighted when you say, “Lord, I need You, only You.”
