RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Vision of the Lord

Want to know what it’s like to see God?

The Bible says no man can see God. Yet the great yogi Sri Ramakrishna taught that to live without seeing God is to live totally in vain. How do yogis reconcile this? We are created by the Divine, we have Divine consciousness within us, and it is this Divine presence of God within us that can see the Lord. Discover several ways to prepare for a vision of God.

Bhakti Yoga Talks, Prayer, Meditation
  • Learn the analogy of being in a theater waiting to see a stage production. What happens when the curtain rises? A deep hush — total stillness — occurs. In your stillness, your breath pauses and God’s light shines forth
  • Discover that the chaos of one’s thoughts, feelings and anxieties can soften into a hush of expectation
  • Deep prayer and meditation are keys to entering into a rapturous vision
  • The Lord responds to love, appreciation and adoration

Who Sees the Lord?

The Divine within us sees the Lord through spiritual eyes, hears through spiritual ears, and feels the Lord’s presence through the heart of love.
