When you start meditating, what can you expect? Discover different meditation experiences that available, including — the buddhi, a place of great wisdom and insights; and mahat atman, a development of love that becomes so great you feel oneness with all people. Enjoy a guided meditation that helps awaken the kundalini, the spiritual energy within your spine which enables deep meditation experiences.
You may feel definite activity in the spine. Energy is trying to move upward, to give you an awakening or enlightening samadhi or bhava (described in Part 1), so it’s very good. Sometimes, as this energy moves, it feels like little blissful ants crawling in the spine. But it’s a pleasant feeling, instead of a picnic disruption. Sometimes it feels like there’s a winding going on, a swirling motion, occurring in the spine. You may even feel like your body’s turning. You open your eyes, peek out, but you find your body’s perfectly still. This is a nice thing. Your spiritual energy, called the kundalini, is beginning to unfold and move towards a samadhi or a bhava and ultimate awakening.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
