Beyond the mind, there is a place of serene awareness called the buddhi. Through yoga, the buddhi level of awareness is developed. The mind becomes profoundly quiet and is filled with peace and serenity. In this state, the soul, the core self, reveals its presence and nature.
One of the main things which happens as we begin to experience the benefits of yoga is that our souls express through us. We gain a sense of living in our true nature and develop an attitude of: I am a spiritual being. I live and move in the awareness of the Divine expressing through me.
