Problems on the Path

Are we all going to die some day? Maybe not

One common obstacle to spiritual growth is attachment to the body. Discover how releasing possessiveness of your physical body can allow you to move forward to higher states of awareness.

Sunday Morning Talks

You Are Never Going to Die

The fact of the matter is you are never going to die. Someday, as a result of your walk with Spirit, there will be a removal of your external coat — the physical body — and a move to a higher, more wonderful realm. You’ll let go of your body but you won’t die. Prepare for the day your body is not going to keep up. You will then let it go, generally with God’s help and presence. Why not think of your transition in this way?

  • One day you are going to shed your body but your essence, your soul, will never die
  • Releasing preoccupation with the physical body allows us to move into exalted states of freedom and well being
  • Through samadhi we can personally commune with the Lord
  • The first commandment is:  Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. (This first commandment is the most essential and often the hardest to keep.)

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
