Would you like to be more focused on God when you meditate?

Chanting the name of God helps you profoundly gather your attention and focus your awareness. Discover how chanting can help you sense God’s attributes such as goodness, love, joy, light, and then to become completely immersed in God.

Chant God’s Name in the Heart

We’re going to focus in the heart area. We’re going to strive to chant God’s name and be aware of the Lord abiding within us — God within the heart, as best you can imagine or feel. Chant God’s name and your awareness will grow deeper and deeper.

Chanting God’s name in the heart center will increase your attunement with the Divine who lives within you.

  • Consciously chanting God’s name will deepen your concentration and attunement
  • Chant the attributes of God such as goodness, love, truth, joy, mercy, compassion, peace, and light
  • Keeping your awareness flowing soulward while you mentally chant will lead to better meditations
  • God is living, moving and expressing within us. Become aware of God’s presence within by chanting the name of the Lord in the heart center
  • Join Ramakrishna Ananda to practice allowing your awareness to flow as you chant God’s name and attributes

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
