Spirit is continually emanating, shining and creating through humanity and the universe. Victory from a yogic view point is discovering, abiding in and expressing from the soul, the spiritual self within. Explore yogic processes for contacting and living from the soul. You can become a window through which your soul shines.
Two very important components of yoga are assimilating and discarding. Assimilating is learning from life and making what you learn a part of you. As you contact Spirit, allow it to dwell in your mind, thoughts, feelings and entire being.
Throughout our lives we receive many great opportunities to assimilate Spirit. However, there are burdens, problems and confusions which may block this assimilation. Yogis seek to release limitations and discard the opaqueness which keeps them ignorant of Spirit — to let go of pettiness and old wounds. A yogi is someone who is actively assimilating and discarding.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
