Do You Love and Respect Your Yoga?

Hints for quickly making progress in yoga

How do you feel about your yoga practice? A good attitude makes all the difference. Find out how the attitude of friendliness, love and respect results in a powerful and fulfilling yoga practice.

First Steps

Friendliness Towards Yoga

It takes friendliness toward your yoga practice for you to grow and develop. It’s very important to remember that term — be friendly toward the goal, friendly toward the practice of yoga, and friendly toward yourself. It takes all three to get the right attitude and the right dynamics going. Similarly, the idea of friendliness includes love and respect. As you practice yoga, does it have your love and respect? If so, it will make the journey so much more powerful, wonderful, and fulfilling.

We are spiritual beings
“Higher consciousness (also called spiritual awareness) is the main component missing in the lives of people. We humans are spiritual beings, enlivened by Spirit. We’d have a much better world if more people discovered the already present Spirit within them.”

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
