Sense Goodness

We want to be aware of goodness around us and within us. Goodness comes from God and soul. We are seeking to experience goodness and live in that awareness. This goodness is from God, from our core being, from the life and consciousness within us and others. That’s a beautiful way to begin and end the day, isn’t it?

  • Our core essence, the soul, is goodness
  • In the East, people often attune with Shiva to sense goodness everywhere
  • In the West, many people think of goodness as God the loving Father
  • Cultivate God’s goodness in meditation and begin to live in awareness of goodness
  • Pema Chödrön (Living Beautifully) suggests mindful meditation — directing the attention to areas of pain while using the breath to focus the life force
  • Yogis practice centering the mind in areas of hurt by chanting the mantra So Hum, So Hum (Spirit Am I), focusing the breath, and allowing goodness to express

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
