Yoga is Wholeness

How to live in a state of harmony

Yoga is the harmony of body, mind and Spirit — all parts working together and leading to wholeness. Yoga practice is designed to bring an awareness of that unity. Discover a series of simple practices to enjoy more harmony, energy and wholeness in your life.

First Steps, Oneness

Appreciate Wholeness

As we grow in awareness and enjoyment of wholeness, our energy level increases and we develop a more attuned mind. We become aware of divine consciousness and recognize that Spirit is operating beautifully in our lives. We understand wholeness is an extremely important perspective in life and appreciate and welcome its subtle power.

  • Rabbi Kushner: Holiness is constantly guiding and unfolding in our lives.
  • Yogis strive to live in the awareness of being whole
  • Hanging forward loosely from the hips (for a minute, if comfortable) helps the body, mind and Spirit work together
  • The star pose is designed to return you to wholeness
  • Chant Om to renew and reestablish awareness of wholeness

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
