Meditation: Transmitter and Receiver

Find out how to receive love, intuition and goodness

Yogis seek to relate and interact with the Infinite Spirit. The transmitter/receiver meditation can be used to send out a call to the Infinite and receive Its response. Like most yoga methods, this technique requires conscious, committed practice. Try it and discover the happiness and fulfillment it can bring into your life.

Keys to Higher Yogas

The Call and the Response

Broadcasting from the third eye is referred to as the call. Often we are calling out for wisdom, understanding or changes in life. On the other hand, perhaps we wish to offer praise or appreciation. As you practice broadcasting, hopefully your call will become clearer and more focused. After doing this for at least 10 minutes, you are ready to receive. Put your awareness in the front of the chest and be receptive. Don’t think or try to manipulate Spirit’s response. Just be open to the intuitions and feelings of love that are available to us all.

  • When we hold a thought deeply in the third eye, it goes out into the universe with growing clarity
  • Spend ten minutes or longer broadcasting your call out to God, the Infinite Spirit
  • The heart center is where we receive love, wisdom, higher intuitions and answers
  • When we focus in the chest and are receptive, flashes of awareness may come
  • These beautiful intuitions are often extremely helpful. It is always advisable, however, to check them out in the light of day
  • Spiritual responses from the Infinite are humbling and thoroughly fulfilling. If they seem to enhance the ego, they are likely coming from the subconscious, not Spirit
