Swami Vivekananda explains there is no true individuality except in the shining forth of Spirit. When we experience Spirit, our true individuality is revealed. Prior to that, we are just guessing, coping and trying out various phases of personality. The Infinite Spirit expresses through each of us in a unique way. Seek to allow and cooperate with Spirit instead of ignoring it.
When we don’t know our true nature, we are struggling toward realization of it. Our individuality is the Infinite Spirit within us. That is our real nature — the Infinite. We’ll be delighted with whom we turn out to be.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
