Let Your Mind Reveal Spirit

Explore ways to transcend the mind and live in Spirit

Yogis refer to the mind as a veil which often blocks spiritual awareness. Explore how witness consciousness leads to realization of soul and Spirit. Discover the beautiful experiences one can find beyond the veil of the mind.

Spiritual Development

The Mind Is a Veil

The mind is so busy and preoccupied that it habitually ignores Spirit and acts like a veil. One day, with practice, especially the buddhi practice, Spirit is recognized. You can live in the awareness of your soul. You can have the four excellences.

Your mind doesn’t have to be a veil or a big, thick barrier. You can live free, whole and happy.

  • The mind, forgetting its origin in Spirit, pursues its own agenda
  • The buddhi is the clear, undisturbed witness consciousness
  • The buddhi can witness both external events and internal thoughts and feelings
  • Contact with the buddhi leads to even-mindedness and wise intuitions
  • The pure mind recedes into its source — the soul
  • Through practice of witness consciousness one develops the four excellences of yoga
