How Yogis Work

Explore ways to find greater fulfillment through work

Work often fools us. We think we are the workers, but in reality we are spiritual beings who are working. When we become enlightened, we see that we’re instruments through whom Spirit is working. Discover hints about how to work that will make you a better and more joyful worker.

Yoga in Daily Life, Work
  • Give attention to the details of your work and especially to the values and importance of the work you’re doing
  • Start each day offering your work to the Lord of your heart and/or your higher self
  • Energize your body before you before work
  • It’s best to center in some particular way before you go to work so you can be focused throughout the day
  • As you become aware of Spirit, let It flow through you

Enjoy Your Work

As a consequence of learning how to work yogically, let the work flow. Rejoice in it. You will then have the privilege of working while at the same time serving God. Enjoy your work.

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
