One of the goals of yoga is to become awakened by discovering your essence, your spiritual nature. Then you become a jivanmukta, a person who is freed while living — free of worry, blockages and emotional wounds. You become one who lives from the soul and is aware that your essence is eternal, pure and painless. In your sense of freedom, you can be a light to others.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
