RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Dealing with Rascals

Are problem people really a blessing in disguise?

Problem people and situations can bring value, meaning and purpose into our lives. Explore yogic ways to approach challenges. Discover the blessings that come as we learn what life has to teach us.

Essential Life Skills

Opportunities

You can benefit from each rascal in your life because they actually bring opportunities to learn important lessons. You have attracted this experience to further your growth, compassion, understanding and abilities. Because each of you are here to learn life lessons, you have been brought together in this situation.

Though you may not realize it at first, both of you are going to walk away improved in important ways.

  • Sri Ramakrishna described problem people as rascals but taught that they are usually there to help us grow
  • First, understand the situation and reflect:  What is the value, meaning, purpose here?
  • Don’t just react. When the ego intensifies, it blocks the soul
  • Establish a soul connection, remembering your soul has good will for everyone
  • Don’t be like a poisonous snake and bite back. Just hiss effectively
  • Think of yourself as an instrument:  How would Spirit like to express here?

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
