Great Thoughts from Yoga

What is yoga really all about?

Most people think of yoga as exercises, breathing practices or meditation techniques. But yoga is so much more than that! Explore the many great ideas of yoga that all help to bring us to a state of harmony of body, mind, and inner self as well as harmony with others and the universal self.

Yoga Perspectives, Harmony, Mantram

Harmony with the Infinite Spirit

Yoga is living in a state of harmony of body, mind and Spirit. That’s half the definition. The other half is that the individual person enjoying harmony of body, mind and Spirit also wants harmony with the Infinite Spirit and with people throughout the world. There’s a beautiful harmony that yoga brings in which body, mind and Spirit work together. It brings a wonderful sense of well being.

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve
