The Final Stage

The aspirant reaches the final stage of union with the self. You know you’re a spiritual being. This consciousness is now permanent. You’re aware of Spirit as the main substance from which all other substances come. You are united with Spirit, you see everything as Spirit. You know yourself to be Spirit and everyone else is Spirit. This is all a play of Spirit, a divine play of Spirit. Sri Ramakrishna says don’t just stop with realizing Spirit. What does Spirit want to do in you and through you? Let Spirit in you participate, play Its role in the divine play of creation.  —  Swami Adiswarananda
