The great yogi Sri Ramakrishna affirmed that “Faith is the cornerstone of all.” When we live in faith, it often blossoms into a level of spiritual awareness wherein we perceive Spirit moving, responding and expressing within us and all people everywhere. Faith opens us to spiritual experiences.
A yoga devotee practices faith and an openness to the state of Chaitanya, an interplay with the Divine. The devotee enters Chaitanya and experiences a new level of knowing. In this awareness of oneness, it’s easier to pray, to petition, to ask for things, because you’re more deeply connected with the person you’re praying for. You’re connected with the Divine as It moves and expresses in all lives.
