RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Your Partnership with Spirit

Are you allowing Spirit to express?

A yogi who has spiritual realization actually lives in the harmony of body, mind and spirit. He/she becomes a partner with Spirit, knowing, loving and serving the Divine. Explore several contemplations which can open you to an interplay with the Lord. You can become a partner and enter into a wonderful relationship with Spirit.

Spiritual Development

Become a Partner

The first part of the definition of a yogi is:  one who lives in the harmony of body, mind and spirit. The second half of the definition is:  one who relates to and interplays with the Infinite Spirit. Yoga becomes a partnership. Mature yogis have a relationship, a back-and-forth interaction, with the Infinite. Living with an awareness of Spirit, they seek to serve It, expressing Spirit in their daily lives.

Today we are going to focus on the relationship between the devotee and the Infinite Spirit. If you have not yet experienced Spirit, keep meditating. Stretch your mind and prepare for the day of partnership. Here are several contemplations which help the mind and ego interplay with Spirit. Even when we are unaware of Its presence and existence, Spirit still responds.

  • Growing in awareness, a devotee feels more and more love awaken in the heart center
  • The life of a yogi is centered on a partnership with God — knowing, loving and serving the Divine
  • Contemplation and meditation prepare one for a partnership with the Divine
  • The awakened devotee and the Infinite become partners, interplaying and furthering creation
