This is part four of a six-part series on You Can Choose Your State of Mind. A person who is in the restless state of mind is at a pivot point, sometimes experiencing inner harmony but sometimes preoccupied by chaotic thoughts and feelings. If you are in this state, you are occasionally aware of your inner self, but generally not. Find out how you can move beyond the restless state to a clear, calm mind which is attuned with your inner self.
The restless mind is looking for a place to rest. It’s pulled by the outer world yet lured by the flashes of light and bliss within. As the mind goes within to its source all will be gained — both the inner universe and the outer world.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
