State 4 — The One-Pointed Mind

Find out if you are in the one-pointed state of mind

This is part five of a six-part series on You Can Choose Your State of Mind. Is it easy and natural for your mind to be gathered and focused? Can you think about anything you want? Discover how you can be successful and fulfilled in every aspect of life by becoming established in the one-pointed state of mind.

Yoga Basics, Mind, Helpful Qualities, Self-Realization

A Great Asset

One-pointedness is high among the greatest assets a person can have. It more nearly assures a person of success and fulfillment than any other aptitude I know of. Yet people rarely even suspect that they can, with regular practice, achieve the fourth state of mind — one-pointedness — and all that it provides.

  • Find out how the one-pointed mind becomes the instrument for understanding and relating to life better
  • Practice an exercise to examine whether your mind is one-pointed
  • Explore the benefits of having a one-pointed mind, including improved sleep
  • Learn how you can begin to see the underlying meanings and possibilities of what you perceive
  • How the one-pointed flow of consciousness can overcome negative or fearful thoughts

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.

Why the Commitment?
