RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Advanced Praying — Part 3

Explore the three places where prayer is uttered

The priest and yogi Abhishiktananda teaches how to enrich our prayer experience. He describes three places/stages of prayer, each taking us deeper into an awareness of the Divine. Discover how advanced prayer can improve your life and the lives of others.

Devotional Yoga, Prayer

Transcendental Prayer

Transcendental prayer centers in the heart. One can experience the Holy Spirit — light and glory radiating everywhere. The light of transfiguration will likely transform/release the situation being prayed about.

  • The priest and yogi Abhishiktananda describes three places where prayer is uttered
  • The first place to pray or chant is at the lips and tongue
  • The second is to pray or chant a mantra with unbroken mental attention
  • In the third, the prayer is firmly fixed at the very center of one’s being, inside the spine back of the heart
  • In the heart one can experience the light and glory of the Holy Spirit radiating everywhere, including within the person or situation being prayed about
