We all know that getting enough sleep is important to our health, mental state, and overall well being. However, for most of us, getting enough sleep is a major challenge due to busy schedules, anxious thoughts troubling us, blue light from mobile devices overstimulating our nervous system, and on and on.

No matter how busy our life or how turbulent our mind, yoga techniques can help to deliver a good night’s sleep every night.

Sleep is Important to a Yogi

It’s very important for most yogis to get good sleep because a healthy nervous system is key in allowing the spiritual energy to rise up the spine and bestow spiritual awareness. The nerves have to be able to maintain the powerful flow of Spirit in order to grow spiritually.

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
