RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Desires and Fulfillment

How to take a desire break

Desires provide important motivation and drive. Desires, however, usually cause people to feel unfulfilled, living in a state of yearning, craving or anxiety. Ramakrishna Ananda shares a technique which helps to let go of desires in a stress-free progression. This method can lead to peace, bliss and, ultimately, profound fulfillment.

Yoga Is About Uniting

The idea of fulfillment in yoga is that you and your goal unite. You realize your goal, becoming at one with it. In terms of your individuality, you, as a unique human being, become at one with, unified with, your personal goals and potential.

  • Fulfillment is unification between you and your goal
  • We often think that what we seek is far away, distant — “Maybe someday I’ll get that.” Instead, intuit that what you want is here now
  • Enjoy the “desire break” technique
  • Find out how to contemplate your goals and understand what you need to do to accomplish them
  • Discover how visualizing your goal will help you achieve it
  • Spiritual companionship is also key to fulfilling your goals
