How to enjoy greater peace of mind

Have you ever had a conversation with someone and realize you haven’t heard a word they’ve said for the last five minutes? Your mind was somewhere else. When you discover how to be more present — not always thinking about the past or future — then you have fewer stress reactions, more control over how you respond to others, and a greater state of well being, energy and health. Explore a few simple practices that will help you live in the now and enjoy greater peace of mind.

Centering in Your True Self

It’s very important to understand that when meditating you are experiencing awareness that transcends normal thought and feeling. You have a superconscious experience as a result of this level of awareness. Meditation is centering in your true nature — not something that you imagine, not something that you pretend. When you’re meditating correctly, you are centering more and more in your true nature, in your true self.

  • Discover how changing your eye gaze can change your level of consciousness
  • Understand how your subconscious is affecting everything you do and how to get free of its dominance
  • Hardly anyone has objective consciousness. Find out how you can access objective consciousness with a simple eye gaze
  • Learn to access the intuitive part of your nature, what yogis call superconsciousness
  • Enjoy the Lake of Your Mind technique to still the mind, letting go of thoughts of the past and future. Enjoy peace of mind

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
