RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Two Brilliant Approaches

Discover how to become absorbed in Spirit

Jnana yoga teaches how to go beyond the many into the One. Jnanis seek to realize that Spirit is the one reality, that all, including the soul, is Spirit. Discover how chanting Om can lead to absorption in Spirit.

Jnana Yoga

Awareness of the One

Jnanis seek to realize the One Spirit behind the many forms. Behind the many galaxies and living beings, we strive to become aware of the one Spirit expressing in all. We go beyond limited awareness of duality and its many forms to living in an awareness of the One. We gain an ongoing recognition both of the One and the many forms Spirit is expressing. This is the realization of jnana yoga — an experienceable reality, not a fantasy.

  • The Mundukya Upanishad prescribes two main jnana (wisdom) yoga practices
  • The principal practice of jnana yoga is to chant not this, not this until one realizes Spirit
  • Chanting Om can help seekers go beyond the many into the One
  • Learn and practice the correct way to chant Om
  • Chanting Om can lead one into samadhi (absorption in Spirit)
  • The goal of jnana yoga is the realization that all is Spirit — Spirit everywhere, in everything, and that the soul is Spirit
