RAMAKRISHNA ANANDA

Are You Judging or Blessing? — Part 1

How to help family, friends and coworkers

Judging others leads to separateness while appreciating them leads to peace and harmony. When we appreciate others, we can often discern the way their souls would like to express. Discover how to be a blessing in the lives of others through appreciation and discernment.

Essential Life Skills

Sense the Soul

Be aware of what people say and how they behave. You can become so good at this that you often can discern their dharma, the way their soul would like to express. You can observe their character and spiritual traits and help them grow in a way that is natural to them. The point is, instead of being a self-appointed critic, look at people and appreciate them.

  • The attitude of judging others blocks us from higher consciousness, harmony and love
  • Work on appreciating others rather than judging them
  • Yoga devotees are encouraged to discriminate between vidya (leading Godward) and avidya (leading away from God)
  • Both Jesus Christ and Sarada Devi taught:  If you want peace and happiness, don’t spend your life as a fault finder.
  • When we appreciate others, we can often sense their soul and how it would like to express
  • Study these three stages:  judging, appreciating, and discriminating (discerning)

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve
