The Golden Rule

How to improve relationships and increase prosperity and happiness

The Golden Rule is the principle of treating others as you would like to be treated. Discover the harmony and prosperity that comes as we enjoy and apply the Golden Rule in our lives.

Yoga in Daily Life, Karma

Enjoy the Golden Rule

As to you and your household, practice the Golden Rule. Let it grow and develop in the way you live. You will then live in harmony and prosper. Enjoy the Golden Rule. As Jesus often said, “The kingdom of God is at hand.”

  • The Golden Rule — treat others as you would like to be treated — is central to all religions
  • Mark 4:24:  By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides
  • Yoga teaches that the causes we put out come back into our lives as effects
  • When the Golden Rule is not observed by people in your life, turn to God. He hears your prayers and will help
  • Support, appreciate and reinforce all who practice the Golden Rule

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.

I Commit to Serve

This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.

Why the Commitment?
