As we practice yoga, we become aware that the whole universe is blessing our progress and awakening. Theologians have described this energy as the Holy Spirit. Explore attitudes which prepare you to accept the seven gifts of the Spirit into your life and yoga practice.
The seventh gift is fear of the Lord. What does this mean? It means standing in awe and wonder before the Lord as we become aware of His glory and majesty. With awe and wonder we receive knowledge, goodness, power and love. The virtue of hope transforms into reverence for the Lord.
The seven gifts are given under the impetus and timing of the Holy Spirit. In God we find the fulfillment of all we desire. May they be a blessing in your life.
We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
This commitment is solely between you and your inner self.
