This is called “the age of anxiety.” How do yogis deal with anxiety?

Yoga directly relieves anxiety. Yoga helps you get the tension out of your body and out of your mind. It also gives you, through the postures, a sense of feeling good. You just live every day feeling good. Pranayamas harmonize the life force that is moving in our being. And, through meditation you are connecting with your soul, your true self, which is not suffering stress at all. Yoga is the way to sublime eternal happiness that’s ongoing all the time.

How to Succeed

As you may know, we do not charge for our courses. All Yoga World content is free and available to you with our blessings. However, we do have a simple, but important request that’s key to the transformations necessary to succeed on the path.

We ask you to commit two hours a week to selfless service. This service can be anything you choose ranging from helping a family member or neighbor to volunteering at a nonprofit organization.
